Cengild Sdn Bhd Strengthens Wildlife Conservation Efforts with Zoo Negara Malaysia 

Ampang, 25 February 2024 – As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Cengild Sdn Bhd has partnered with Zoo Negara Malaysia to promote environmental conservation and wildlife awareness. This collaboration, under the "Conservation Awareness Partnership" programme, reflects Cengild’s commitment to sustainable environmental stewardship. 

The programme focused on the ‘Green’ (enrichment) element, which aimed to enhance the well-being of zoo animals by stimulating their natural behaviours and senses. Through this initiative, Cengild Sdn Bhd contributed to improving the living conditions of the animals while educating the public on the importance of wildlife conservation. 

The event, held on 25 February 2024 from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm at Zoo Negara Malaysia, saw the participation of 30 Cengild team members. Activities included preparing enrichment materials to engage and stimulate the animals, ensuring they remain active and healthy. This hands-on experience provided participants with deeper insight into the daily efforts required to maintain the welfare of wildlife in captivity.
