Dr Lim Kin Fong graduated with MBBS from University of Malaya in June 1996. He then furthered his studies and obtained FRCS from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland on 4 September 2002. He was then gazetted as General Surgeon in Ministry of Heath (MOH) on 6 March 2004. He later underwent subspecialty higher surgical training in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery:
